Service Platforms Specifications

Service Access to Pipe Handling System

  • 2 retractable work platforms, 2' wide each, one on each side of the service platform.
  • Handrails and toe plate will be located around all work platform and service platform.
  • Manual jacking system to extend and retract the work platform with expected total jacking time of less than 90 seconds/one way.
  • The jacking system designed to be maintenance free.

Service Platforms for tugger sheaves under crown

  • Each service platform shall have the top of grating at 12' below crown platform.
  • One access ladder and platform for each side of the service platform.
  • The access ladder shall have safety cages.
  • Handrails and toe plate around service platform.
